The map is advancing steadily, but the project is so big, it's hard to keep up with all the things to do with so few people. Hence, I'm reaching out through several channels, trying to find people that are willing and able to contribute. The first version of the map is going to be released soon. After that though, there's a lot that can be improved. The people working on it right now will be able to do part of it (code, balance etc.), but I want to improve even more! What I need right now are a 2d artist (icons, interface, skins), a modeler, an animator and a webmaster (of sorts). Read more for specifics.

Well well, I bet you never thought it'd get this far - but yes, the website is updated! It's been a real b*tch to finish it. I had no experience with Joomla at all when Perzik agreed to assist me in creating a new website for the map. Little did I know that so many other people knew just as little as I. When Perzik ran out of time to help, progress on the site stopped for a while (say, two years..), after which I decided it would be a waste not to try and finish it. Hence, I asked everyone I know that has skill and experience in making websites. Luck was not on my side, as none of them ever really worked with Joomla. Then, desperately, I created a post at the Joomla forum - a "cry for help". That's when I met Dreiph.

Damn blizzard! Just as Deaod and I were finishing up the final few loose ends in order to complete the map, blizzard released patch 1.23b/1.24. Now, the map is broken. In order to seal a security hazard in the map code, Blizzard decided to remove some functions – which are used in my map. Yes, they did create new functions that can replace the lost ones (and are even better), but that does mean that we have to track down and fix every hole in the map. I’m totally horrified by the prospect of being set back so far after all the work, but hey, it’s been more than five years since the last release, a few more weeks won’t matter, will they?
